What is a Gaiwan Tea Cup?
A gaiwan (literally “lidded bowl”) is a classic 1,000-year-old traditional Chinese brewing vessel designed for full control over tea steeping. This iconic three-piece set (bowl, lid, saucer) lets you adjust steeping time easily, view tea leaves unfurl, and filter tea smoothly when pouring—making it the preferred choice for brewing oolong, pu’er, white and green teas.
